Random IMEI privacy policy

Random IMEI is built for device testing and marketplace integrity teams who need random IMEI numbers without exposing personal data. This policy explains the limited information we collect, how we use it, and the controls you retain while using the random IMEI generator.

1. Introduction

Random IMEI is a free-to-use web utility that creates Luhn-valid IMEI numbers based on curated TAC datasets. We operate the service with privacy-by-design principles and keep data collection to the minimum required to maintain security and performance.

2. Information we process

When you access Random IMEI we capture lightweight technical telemetry such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps. These server logs help us defend against abuse and troubleshoot outages. Logs automatically purge after 30 days. The random IMEI batches you generate stay in your browser and are never stored on our servers.

If you contact us through email we retain the details you submit (name, email, message body) so we can respond. We do not add you to marketing lists or share your information with third parties.

3. Security and retention

Access to operational logs is limited to the Random IMEI operations team. Log data is encrypted at rest and removed on a rolling basis. Contact form correspondence is archived for up to 12 months before deletion unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

Because Random IMEI runs in the browser, generated numbers, device selections, and TAC metadata never leave your session unless you explicitly export them.

4. Your privacy choices

You can request log removal or copies of any correspondence we hold by emailing [email protected]. Please include “Random IMEI privacy” in the subject line so we can fast-track your request.

We will update this privacy policy whenever we introduce new data flows. The revision date appears at the top of this page and the previous versions are available on request.
